First-Time Offenders

If you are a first-time offender, you may be eligible to enter a program for misdemeanor theft crimes known as a misdemeanor diversion program or MDP. A Felony Pretrial Intervention program, or PTI, is available for first-time felony offenders. This is similar to the misdemeanor program, but more rigorous.
